Product Range

A highly versatile material, Foamed PVC sheet is an extruded product which has a semi hardened matt surface on both sides that encapsulates a cellular foamed core. Suitable for a variety number of application, sizes range from 2.0mm to 30mm it can be easily worked using conventional wood working, molding and decoration processes.

Fabrication

Sawing, Cutting & Drilling: A circular saw blade with carbide teeth utilising the triple chip tooth design is preferred. For irregular parts, use standard woodworking bandsaws. For drilling, use conventional drill bits with the standard drill angles and a negative rake.

Cementing: Foamed PVC sheet can be cemented with conventional solvent based PVC cements.

Heat Forming: (Generally Foamed PVC only) between 130-140°C Foamed PVC sheet becomes flexible and can be form pressed, moulded

Decorating: Foamed PVC sheet can be foil stamped, painted, screen printed and successfully decorated with pressure sensitive vinyls.
